Annotated is a social layer for the meaningful parts of the web: capture a passage, screenshot or YouTube segment, add your perspective, and discuss it without losing the original source.
What we are building
Most online sharing strips away context. Annotated keeps every contribution connected to its source and asks the author to add genuine commentary. The result is a feed built around evidence, interpretation and useful disagreement rather than isolated screenshots.
The contest MVP
The MVP focuses on public profiles, following, text and screenshot capture, YouTube segments, comments, likes, bookmarks, visibility controls and source attribution. Broader search and notifications are intentionally deferred until the core publishing loop has been tested.
